Your classrooms should already be set up with the appropriate children added to them as part of the development trial. However, if at any point you need to add a classroom, or add children to an existing classroom, this is the guide to follow.

Create a new classroom:

To set up a classroom, click the "Add Classroom" button in the top left of the TeachScribe school overview page. Enter the classroom name, then select the goal framework which you want to use with the classroom. If a framework other than "Default Framework" appears when you try to add a framework, it may be the case that your school is using a custom goal framework. During the development trial if that happens and you are unsure what to select, please check to see what framework you should be using by messaging us on the live chat.

Then click the create classroom button, and the classroom will be created and appear in the list of the classrooms in the school. The below video demonstrates this process.

Add children to the classroom:

To add children to a new or existing classroom, you will want to go to that classroom's dashboard and click "Class Settings" in the top right. You will then want to click on the "Add Student" button in the middle of the screen. You should then fill out the child's details. Once the details are all filled out you should click "Apply Changes" and you'll see that the child has been added to the classroom.

If you need to adjust the child's development level so that their activities are tagged against goals for a child in a lower age group you can follow the guide here.
