First, locate the observation you want to share with a parent. Once you've done that you'll want to click the share button (highlighted below) on the observation card.
Then, once you've clicked the share button, review and edit the observation contents, add any photos or videos to it as required and select the parent(s) to share it with using the highlighted section of the page below.
After selecting the parent(s) to share with, click the share button (highlighted below) on the top right of the iPad screen. This will send the observation to the parent.
Back in the main observation list, the observation card will now indicate that it's been shared with a parent. If you want to un-share the observation, or want to share it with another parent for that child, you will want to click that indicator and it'll take you back to the above screen where you can modify the parent(s) it's being shared with.
